Truly heirloom quality, all surfaces are sanded and finished to the highest quality standard, thereby creating an extremely smooth surface so that delicate clothing will not be snagged or torn. The inside has an interior bag with drawstring for closure, so that clothes may be transported to the dry cleaners or laundry. The lids are double hinged for ruggedness and longitivity.
